Parti de la Nation Occitane : Il y a 10 ans, Jacques Ressaire nous quittait

Le 8 juin 2010, Jacques Ressaire nous quittait prématurément. Un temps enseignant, puis libraire à Bagnols sur Cèze et enfin apiculteur à St Michel d'Euzet (Gard), il accepta d’assurer la présidence du Parti Nationaliste Occitan (renommé depuis Parti de la Nation Occitane) à la mort de son fondateur François Fontan en 1979 et démissionna en 2009 pour raisons de santé.

Militant anticolonialiste pour l'indépendance de l'Algérie avec François Fontan dans les années 60, il connut la prison.

 Collaborateur, ami et successeur de François Fontan, il consacra sa vie à l’émancipation de la nation occitane. Son objectif était l'indépendance de l'Occitanie, qui pourrait se réaliser morceau par morceau, et son unification dans une République fédérale occitane englobant le tiers Sud de l’État français (à l’exception du Pays Basque et de la Catalogne Nord), le Val d'Aran (actuellement dans l'Etat espagnol), les Vallées occitanes de l’État italien et la principauté de Monaco.

En Occitanie, il oeuvra à dépasser les querelles graphiques et à rapprocher militants culturels et politiques occitans.

Dépassant l’antagonisme de Fontan pour l’Europe, il fit évoluer le Parti de la Nation Occitane vers un soutien à une construction européenne raisonnable.

 Il reprit le flambeau de l’ethnisme créé par François Fontan en militant pour l'émancipation de toutes les nations sans État dans le monde définies par l’existence d’une langue propre sur leur territoire historique.

Depuis 10 ans, le Parti de la Nation Occitane continue inlassablement son œuvre sur le terrain à la rencontre des Occitanes et des Occitans, en participant avec d’autres forces occitanes aux manifestations publiques, aux consultations électorales, dans les médias en publiant sa revue Lo Lugarn et dans les réseaux sociaux avec son blog et sa page facebook.

Jacques, nous nous souvenons de toi avec recueillement et respect et poursuivons ton cheminement sur la route escarpée qui mène à l’indépendance de notre chère nation occitane.

Un temps ensenhaire, puèi librari a Banhòus de Céser e enfin abelhaire a Sant Miquèu d'Euset (Gard), acceptèt d’assegurar la presidéncia del Partit Nacionalista Occitan (nomenat dempuèi Partit de la Nacion Occitana) quand son fondador Francés Fontan moriguèt en 1979, e demissionèt en 2009 per rasons de santat.

Militant anticolonialista per l'independéncia d’Argèria amb Francés Fontan dins las annadas 60, coneguèt la preson.

 Collaborator, amic e successor de Francés Fontan, consacrèt sa vida a l’emancipacion de la nacion occitana. Sa tòca èra l'independéncia d’Occitània, que se poiriá realisar tròç per tròç, e son unificacion dins una Republica federala occitana englobant lo terç Sud de l’Estat francés (levat lo Bascoat e Catalonha Nòrd), lo Val d'Aran (ara dins l'Estat espanhòl), las Valadas occitanas de l’Estat italian e la principautat de Monegue.

En Occitània, trabalhèt per despassar las garrolhas graficas e per reconciliar los militants culturals e politics occitans.

Despassant l’antagonisme de Fontan per Euròpa, faguèt evolüir lo Partit de la Nacion Occitana cap al sosten a una construccion europèa rasonabla .

 Reprenguèt lo flambèl de l’etnisme creat per Francés Fontan en militant per l'emancipacion de totas las nacions sens Estat dins lo mond definidas per l’existéncia d’una lenga pròpria sus lor territòri istoric.

Dempuèi 10 ans, lo Partit de la Nacion Occitana contunha inlassablament son òbra sul terren  per encontrar las Occitanas e los Occitans en participant amb d’autras fòrças occitanas als eveniments publics, a las consultas electoralas, dins los mèdias en publicant sa revista Lo Lugarn e dins lo malhum social amb son blòg e sa pagina facebook.

Jaume, Nos remembram de tu amb reculhiment e respècte e seguissèm ton caminament sus la via escalabrosa que mena a l’independéncia de nòstra cara nacion occitana.
 

On June 8, 2010, Jacques Ressaire left us prematurely. A teacher for a time, then a bookseller in Bagnols sur Cèze and finally a bee-keeper in St Michel d'Euzet (Gard), he accepted the chairmanship of the Occitan Nationalist Party (renamed Occitan Nation Party since) when its founder François Fontan died in 1979, and resigned in 2009 for health reasons.

An anti-colonialist activist for the independence of Algeria with François Fontan in the 1960s, he was imprisoned.

 Collaborator, friend and successor of François Fontan, he dedicated his life to the emancipation of the Occitan nation. His goal was the independence of Occitania, possibly piecemeal, and its unification into a federal Occitan Republic encompassing the southern third of the French State (with the exception of the Basque Country and northern Catalonia), the Val d'Aran (now part of the Spanish state), the Occitan valleys of the Italian State and the principality of Monaco.

In Occitania, he worked to move beyond bickering over graphics and to bring Occitan cultural and political activists closer.

Overcoming Fontan’s antagonism for Europe, he made the Occitan Nation Party change and support a reasonable European construction

He took up the torch of ethnism created by François Fontan by militating in favour of the emancipation of all stateless nations in the world as defined by the existence of their own language on their historical territory.

For the past 10 years, the Occitan Nation Party has tirelessly continued its work on the field to meet Occitan men and women, participating with other Occitan forces in public events, in elections, being present in the media by publishing its magazine Lo Lugarn and in social networks with its blog and facebook page.

Jacques, we remember you with reverence and respect and continue your journey on the steep road leading to the independence of our beloved Occitan nation.
